This is not a "how-to" book on living off the grid, it's stories about what it's like to actually live off the grid, and in water-access only floating cabin no less! Very well written. It was hard for me to put down. What is also unique about this book (and the whole|From the Author|My first book in the series entitled 'Coastal British Columbia Stories' was another off-the-grid volume called 'Up the Lake.' After this book, I added 9 additional books to the series (so far), and each of them has a taste of off the grid
